Meet Our HPN Staff
Dr. Elizabeth Cutright B.S., D.V.M, Advanced Nutrition Response Testing Clinician
Dr Cutright, has been a long time resident of Chicagoland, working initially 18 years in a blended traditional integrative practice, LePar Animal Hospital on the Southside of Chicago, prior to starting HPN, now in it's 8th year. She is a proud member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Americans for Homeopathy Choice Action. Through these organizations she has enjoyed lecturing to children and adults, lobbying for animal rights, advocating to reinstate homeopathics as legal medicines, food safety, and promoting integrative veterinary medicine. She is one of a growing number of Advanced Certified Nutrition Response Testers. Through her time at LePar, she developed her love of nutrition and dentistry. After going part time to support her growing family’s needs, she found she missed the daily interactions with her growing base of nutritional clients and from there, Healthier Pets Naturally was born. Through the support of many amazing people from Dr Michelle Herlihy, Happy Dog Barkery, Bentley's and the amazing staff at LePar; she now has the best of both worlds. She is now close to home for her family and spreading the word that “food is medicine!” |
Jan Smart, HPN Patient Advocate
Jan is not only a patient advocate but a skilled canine massage therapist & reiki master. She has extensive knowledge of essential oils and regularly helps our clients understand their pet's body language and how they can better connect and care for their pets. She is an avid supporter of all things greyhound. Her dedication to HPN and our patients is unmatched. |
Lisa Delcase, HPN Patient Advocate
She comes to us as a long time client of HPN. She is a Quality Control Specialist with a love of animals and is a Downers Grove native. She has a pack of her own, with a passion for those handsome Doberman kind, as well as fostering. We are so appreciative of the new incite she brings to the office and are happy to have her as part of the team. |
Joie Allen, HPN Relief Patient Advocate
Joie Allen is a graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College, and while she did an amazing job when she was assisting us regularly, she has moved onto supporting the surgeons at Arboretum View Animal Hospital upon her graduation from her tech program. Our loss is their gain, but we appreciate her stepping in when we need an extra hand so she is stuck here on our staff page, because well, we just really don't want to let her go. |
Rowdy, HPN mascot, supplement tester, morale booster, and intern trainer
Rowdy came to us as an owner relinquishment when he was unable to be potty trained. A brief NRT assessment and we found his food allergies were stressing his urinary tract. A change in diet, added supplements, some TLC, and he now is officially potty trained. He has become part of the team. He has been a "volunteer" in supplement trials, trained countless students on animal handling, visited schools for educating children on alternative nutrition, and is a general morale booster. We are grateful to have Rowdy as a living breathing example that food can heal and as our team member.
